A More Thoughtful Way To Live

Support for seniors and families navigating what comes next, with housing options that are practical, affordable, and grounded in care.

Where Castlewood Started

Castlewood is more than a name – it’s the name of a street with a home that was very special to me.

It’s where our family gathered, shared time together, and created memories. It’s also where I had the opportunity to care for a senior family member who meant the world to me. She was someone who showed up for our family in every way – consistent, caring, and always thinking of others.

That experience stayed with me, and it shaped everything this work has become.

When she could no longer be on her own, we explored other options – but she wanted to be at home.

So, I made the commitment to care for her so she could return to the place that felt most familiar and comfortable to her in her final chapter.

Not everyone has that option so Castlewood was created to offer something more thoughtful. A place where seniors can live in a calm, safe environment, feel comfortable in their surroundings, and still have a sense of connection.

Castlewood started from a personal place. And it’s meant to reflect the same level of care that was once given to my own family.

And for those who need a higher level of care, Castlewood isn’t limited to one solution. I also help families find other living options that truly meet their needs – places I would feel comfortable recommending for my own family. The goal is always the same: making sure the next step feels right, not just available.

What Castlewood Offers

Castlewood brings together housing, transition support, and guidance – so families don’t have to figure everything out on their own.

Independent Living

A more affordable way to live well

Castlewood Living homes are designed to offer a balance between independence and support.

Residents live in a shared home environment that is:

  • Comfortable and well-maintained
  • Peaceful and safe
  • More affordable than many traditional options
  • Designed to create a sense of community

This may be a good fit if:

  • Living at home is becoming more difficult to manage
  • You’re exploring more affordable alternatives to traditional senior living
  • You want a setting that feels like a home—not a facility
  • You or your loved one would benefit from being in a shared, supportive environment

This model allows seniors to maintain their independence while still being in a space where they’re not isolated or alone.

Other Services

Housing Placement

Guidance in finding the right living environment – whether shared living or another independent option – by considering level of independence, budget, location, and the type of setting that will feel most comfortable and sustainable.

Transition Support

As a certified Senior Transition Specialist, I can help you understand your options and what makes the most sense for your situation.

I’ll support you through the process of transitioning out of the home in a way that feels thoughtful and manageable. For those who need it, this can include coordinating next steps and assisting with the sale of the home – not as a transaction, but as part of the overall transition.

What Working Together Looks Like

Every situation is different.

I take the time to understand what’s needed, what matters most to you and your family, and what will make this transition feel as smooth as possible.

This isn’t about rushing decisions or pushing a single option. It’s about helping you move forward in a way that makes sense.

Let's Take The Next Step Together

If you’re trying to figure out what comes next, you don’t have to do it alone.

We can talk through your situation and explore what options feel right for you or your loved one.
